fell sick in the first week of hols....

flu bugs flying around these days...

ate 潮州糜(teochew porridge) for like three days....

but still...

i LOVE it too much....

it is like....

started off in a restaurant...

ordered a big plate(though it stated small) of cockles, a plate of kang kong, a plate of fried egg with oyster, pork belly and..... i think thats all...

i had five bowls of porridge....

but really small bowls(to me) though....

mom had 4 bowls

ljn had 5.....

it was like $60....

but it was really good........

then last night...

10pm...

went to eat at the one opposite beauty world...

not the 24hrs one....

the one from 9am to 4am one....

that one is GREAT!

the best!!!!!!!!!!

the veg, fish and di kah was omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT WAS SO GREAT!!!!!!!

they used fermanted beans instead of the normal soya sauce used...

it was super salty....

quite big servings of dishes served.....

though it looked small....

had fishcake, fish, veg and di kah

ordered 4 bowls of porridge though there was only three people eating...........

the bowl was so much bigger than the first one.....

anyways...

$18.50!

3 times lesser than the first one....

and better than the first one...

had porridge again just now for lunch.....

top level of beauty world (the hawker centre).....

great breeze up there!!!!

the food was good....

but compared to the first two.......

not that nice...

i loved the pork belly!!!!

great!!!!!

the fish too!!!!!

the porridge itself was good!!

the veg was... ok.....

i don't like lah....... got weird taste

didn't eat the 猪脚醋.....

cos i don't like the smell of the vinegar.....

pork belly+fish+another fish+猪脚醋 was $19.....

anyway.... got porridge craze now.....

considering cooking it myself....

nvm...

sure fail.....
